Kforce is Hiring a Software Test Engineer 2 Near Redmond, WA
- Infrastructure Code Development: Write and maintain infrastructure code to support automated testing across different frameworks
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Investigate test failures, determine root causes, and implement solutions or escalate issues as needed
- On-Call Engineering: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, once a month, to monitor and respond to pipeline failures and infrastructure issues
- Task Allocation: Balance your time effectively, spending approximately 60% on pipeline investigation, 30% on project work, and 10% in meetings
- Variety of Work: Engage in diverse projects, frequently modifying test files created by other teams and gaining exposure to multiple areas of the organization
- Collaborative Environment: Enjoy a social and collaborative atmosphere, where you'll work closely with other engineers and teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience working with Windows interfaces
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Automated Testing: Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests, with a preference for experience using the Playwright framework
- Hands-On Experience: Candidates with prior experience in coding, development, or quality assurance roles will excel in this position
- Proficiency in Automated Testing: Strong knowledge of automated testing practices and the ability to write or maintain software that supports automated testing
