KGH Autism Services is Hiring a Part-time Accounting Clerk Near Deerfield, IL
This position is on-site at our Deerfield, IL clinic and requires part time work Monday through Friday.
KGH is one of the few interdisciplinary autism therapy centers around, and we work together as a team to provide diagnostic services, speech therapy, occupational therapy, developmental, play-based ABA therapy, and mental health services to improve the quality of life for our clients and their family!
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented part-time accounting clerk to support our finance department. What will you do:
The part-time Accounting Clerk will be responsible for a variety of routine accounting tasks including but not limited to data entry, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, accounts payable, and payroll support. The part-time Accounting Clerk works approximately 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile cash receipts and daily bank activity
- Record credit card charges and manage receipts
- Manage accounts payable, including posting invoices and payments
- Enter various journal entries into the general ledger system
- Support bi-weekly payroll processing
- Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and allocation
- Generate and review monthly department budget vs actual reports
Requirements:
- High school degree is required; bachelor's degree is preferred
- Must have knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role
- Experience with Quickbooks Online preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
