We are seeking an energetic and experienced Part-Time PE Teacher to join our team! As a PE Teacher, you will lead a class of Lower Elementary & Upper Elementary (ages 6-12) students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive PE curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching! This position is one day a week for 2 hours per week for the length of the School Year, with the possibility of continuing during the Summer Program.
Responsibilities:

• Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards
• Encourage the development of students skills
• Prepare any necessary materials
• Take attendance
• Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
• Report and document behavioral incidents

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree or higher and state teaching certification
• Previous experience teaching at the 1-6 level is preferred
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card is required
• As a Contract Employee you are expected to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance
