Kharon is Hiring a Key Account Manager Near Washington, DC

TL;DR Kharon is seeking a full-time, DC-based Key Account Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for our book of business
  • Nurture and strengthen client relationships to achieve retention and upsells
  • Offer product training and demonstrations to support clients’ needs
  • Resolve content, tech, and sales-related inquiries
  • Enable Kharon’s Sales team to effectively close new business and maintain renewals of existing business as the product expert
  • Recognize upsell opportunities and work with Sales team to capitalize on those opportunities
  • Develop deep understanding and continuous awareness of Kharon’s platform and capabilities, including all features, benefits and scope of services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in Account Management
  • Proven background in B2B data (or software) renewals.
  • Proven, foundational understanding of compliance regulations including anti-money laundering (AML), financial crimes and illicit financing (KYC), sanctions, and environmental, social and governance (ESG).
  • Understanding of governance, risk and compliance (GRC), business intelligence research, conflict and illicit finance analysis, banking sector risk management and compliance, or other national security-related matters.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% annually

The base salary range at Kharon is set between $80,000 and $95,000. Please note that this figure does not necessarily include potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or equity that may be part of the overall compensation package.
