As a Production Technician/Material Handler in the Wall Department employees are responsible for inspecting product load for accuracy and safely transporting it around the warehouse or facility using a forklift to ensure timely and complete delivery. Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Load and unload warehouse racking safely. Verify and receive inventory utilizing a computerized MRP system. Additional duties may include working in several assembly areas including glazing, plastics & aluminum cutting, base covers, edging, filler panel and assembly of shell product for customer orders. These activities must be performed efficiently, safely and with quality in mind. This position requires the use of hand tools, assembly equipment, and the ability to follow production schedules. RESPONSIBILITIES: Material Handling:Occasional to frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
