We are currently seeking a fulltime groundskeeper/porter to service a multifamily property in White House and a commercial property in Antioch. 

Job Summary: The Grounds Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the property buildings and grounds to ensure excellent property appearance and curb appeal. Duties include maintaining clean driveways, parking areas, trash collection areas, common areas, landscape, walkways, pool areas, and snow removal.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property and ensure all common areas and amenities are clean and maintained (removal of litter, pressure washing/blowing breezeways/railings/windows, etc.)
• Collect and remove garbage to proper disposal areas. 
• Assist the maintenance department with service requests and perform light maintenance tasks.
• Conduct pool cleaning tasks such as skimming, vacuuming, and chemical balancing.
• Clean outdoor grills.
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Meet task deadlines and ensure timely and courteous responses.
• Clean light fixtures and replace light bulbs in common areas.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Operate a computer and other technological devices to access email and company utilized software.
• Promptly report unsafe conditions or areas of concern regarding the property or residents.
• Oversee the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of general maintenance experience - grounds experience in a multifamily setting is preferred.

• Certified Pool Operator Certification (CPO) is preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills; ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of technology.

Physical demands:

• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time without assistance.
• Must be willing to travel to White House and Antioch.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to operate a golf cart and drive a company vehicle.
• Prolonged periods standing and working outside in different elements and weather conditions.

Additional eligibility requirements:

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must past a background check, drug/health screen, and motor vehicle report prior to first day of employment.
