We have the job for you! SPRINGFIELD DENTISTRY 4 KIDS is offering a full-time opportunity as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant at our MISSIOURI office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.

Certifications: CDA or RDA required, X-RAY and Coronal Polishing certification required, EFDA course completion (as mandated per state requirements)

Experience: 1 years in a dental office

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: MONDAY-FRIDAY

Pay: Starting at $22.00

(EFDA w/ Restorative 1 - $22 EFDA w Restorative 2 - $24)

Monthly Bonus: up to $500 additional per month

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Assist office managers in supporting and supervising back-office employees

* Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties

* Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)

* Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

* Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...

* Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)

* Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse

* Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment

* Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
