Kidsville Learning Center, Inc. is Hiring an Elementary School Teacher Near Miami, FL

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Kidsville Learning Center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the social, emotional, and academic development of young children. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive classroom environment, developing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a love of learning in our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement dynamic and age-appropriate lesson plans in accordance with school curriculum guidelines.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.
  • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students effectively.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal assessment methods.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's academic and behavioral progress.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and faculty meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (If applicable)
  • Valid teaching certification/license appropriate for elementary education in Florida (If applicable).
  • Proven experience working with elementary-aged children in a classroom setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in elementary education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Must be able to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with inquiry-based learning and differentiated instruction.
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus. (Preferably Spanish)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive, organized, and productive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Skill in designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage lesson planning, grading, record-keeping, and other administrative responsibilities.
