Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Assist with patient assessment and medical documentation

Experience:

- Preffered 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, willing to train

- Dentrix and Dexis software

- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques

- Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and perform medical imaging tasks

- Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health practices

- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate patient records

- Proficient in using computer software for medical documentation
