Essential Job Functions
- Operate the filler and maintain operational condition throughout production runs.
- Manage the entire filling operation by controlling filler functions such as starting/stopping, adjusting speeds, coordinating variable speed controls etc.
- Maintain vigilance for any upsets within the filling operation and able to react quickly to overcome such upsets.
- Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of the filler’s operational capacities and its operational limitations.
- Ability to identify unsafe conditions and react with proper techniques to correct these conditions.
- Ability to communicate clearly with downline associates, supervisors, managers, and maintenance department.
- Manage alerts to maintenance and management for all maintenance related issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit, kneel, bend at waist, reach and extend arms.
- Must have good manual dexterity.
- Ability to function in a range of temperatures.
- Must be physically able to wear PPE.
