Location: Pensacola, FL
Status: Full-Time
Maintenance Technicians shall be responsible for performing repair and maintenance activities and using hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner and using the safety equipment/materiel provided. This person shall be able to understand and follow oral and written directions, work independently or in a team situation, communicate and effectively interact with MSC personnel and the general public sufficiently, to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Minimum Requirements
- Maintenance Technicians shall have a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and three (3) years of assignment related maintenance experience.
- Maintenance Technician shall be able to use various hand and power tools, lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment; vision and ability to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone and/or radio.
- Maintenance Technicians shall possess a minimum technical competency level sufficient to perform diagnostic measures and provide repair recommendations on systems associated with their expertise.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
