Kikiktagruk Inupiat is Hiring a Work Control Manager Near Fort Stewart, GA

Title: Work Control Manager

Location: Fort Stewart, GA

Status: Full-Time

The Work Control Manager will provide oversight, direction, instructions and guidance for scheduling and planning of all facility maintenance work for DPW Work Reception and Management. This position is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient performance execution of preventative maintenance activities in accordance with the PWS. Manages, distributes and tracks service call and work order tasks to completion.

  • Review work requests and assist in validation process. Requests will be received electronically, verbally, by telephone, or in person. A typical call should last no more than (3) minutes.
  • Utilize GFEB's for managing and reporting of work/service orders and Army Maintenance Application (ArMA).
  • Maintain compliance with Army Regulation 420-1 Army Facilities Management.
  • Provide reports as required for Government validation.
  • Ensure information into systems is accurate and all work/service order data shall be accurate within one working day of receipt of status change and shall accurately reflect current status.
  • Input additional data as required by BOID.
  • Ensure all information in ArMA and GFEBS information are identical for all applicable fields.
  • Monitors and helps to manage the scheduled work readiness through meetings, issues resolution, metrics, dashboards, schedule reviews, challenge meetings, walkdowns, equipment evaluations, etc.
  • Contacts customer, gives work order number, provides work order status reports, confirms closure of work orders and ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and provide training for site personnel on work control and planning processes.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of business principles and project management methodologies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals.
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong people skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client's representatives, etc.).
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • ArMA and GFEBS experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, computer skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in/with cross- functional teams.
