Kilgore Ind. is Hiring a Business Development Executive Near Austin, TX

Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is seeking a Business Development Executive for our Austin-based Service Department. The key to our success is having the best team in the industry! If you are an experienced Business Development Hunter looking to grow with the industry leader, keep reading! The successful candidate is responsible for providing clients with outstanding, quality customer service by partnering with field technicians and solving challenges faced by our customers. Additionally, this position will be responsible for net new accounts and revenue generation. By developing a business plan focused on driving customer obtainment based on providing customer driven solutions.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Actively acquire new customers, perform on-site demos, build relationships on all levels. 
  • Conduct needs analysis, value engineering, and business case design.
  • Execute strategic account planning and opportunity management.
  • Qualify accounts to identify market potential.
  • Solve complex customer problems using Consultative Solutions Development.
  • Achieve lead generation, prospecting, and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
  • Work in close collaboration with Kilgore presales team & Service teams to ensure that proposed services fully meet customers’ needs analysis.
  • Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years of proven successful service solution sales experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Construction, or Service Industry experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of airside and hydronic systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organized and excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to multitask – be able to work on multiple tasks/ projects at one time.
