Reports to: Daycare Director

Position Purpose: Responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. Must monitor the children all day to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner.

Job Duties:

· Assist children with good hygiene practices and change diapers as necessary

· Clean interactive areas throughout the day

· Assist with meal and snack time for the children

· Facilitate activities for children

· Follow the daily schedule for the children and maintain throughout the day

· Assist the daycare director with records of each child’s progress, interests and any problems that may occur

· Assist the daycare director with maintaining contact with the children’s parents and contacting them in the case of an emergency

· All other duties as assigned by the daycare director

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
