Guest Experience Leader
At Killer Burger, our mission is to throw a party every day that is meant to be an
oasis. One where each guest that comes through our doors has a chance to step
away from the issues and stress of the outside world into an atmosphere of hospitality,
welcomeness, fun, and damn good burgers. When we do our jobs right, our guests leave
happy, well-fed, and excited to come back.
The Guest Experience Leader helps to bring that mission into reality through training,
leadership, and being a brand ambassador inside and outside the restaurant. You will
train every new employee how to deliver best-in-class hospitality, pour perfect beers,
and create a dining experience that will leave our guests happy, full, and excited to
come back. You will be the guardian of the guest experience, always coaching the crew
and crew leaders towards mastery of their skills. You will work with the General
Manager to take care of the restaurant, set goals, and achieve those goals. As a Guest
Experience Leader, you will have the opportunity to make a significant and positive
impact on the crew, the guests, and the company as a whole.

Killer Burger is a dream inspired by the burgers served in Midwestern old-school roadside diners that were the All-American oasis for hungry and tired interstate travelers. That dream became a reality when Killer Burger founder TJ came to Portland, OR and could not find a burger that measured up to the ones he cherished eating as a child at those diners with his family. This was 2010 and the Great Recession was pressing down on the nation with full force. TJ remembered how his family ate at those diners not only because they were on the road a lot but because they were affordable. They were restaurants run by ordinary people to serve ordinary people. But the burgers? They were extraordinary.
TJ was determined to recreate the simple comfort of those memories, so he set up a grill in his garage, poured a few beers, turned up some classic rock, and started creating the burgers of his childhood with his friends. It was during these times that he not only perfected the classic diner burger but created a whole menu of epically crave-able burgers. TJ wanted to share these burgers with the city, so he built a restaurant around them and focused on the singular goal of serving perfect burgers at an affordable price. Especially when many people were feeling the heavy burden of a struggling economy; this was a place where people could come to spend a little and get a lot. And so, Killer Burger was born. We started with a commitment to serve perfect burgers to the world and we have advanced into a company that is also focused on the growth and development of its people and business. Our goal is to be the most fun job our employees will ever have. Many team members stay with us for years because they believe in our vision and love being part of the Killer Burger culture.

Killer Burger is an oasis from the world, a food sanctuary that is dedicated to serving big, juicy, over-the-top hand-built burgers, each one topped with bacon and paired with a side of crispy fries. Only one thing can make these meals even better and that's a local cold craft beer. We don't just love burgers, we commit to the burger, and simply want to create the best burgers imaginable. Somebody's got to do it!
