When we do our jobs right, our guests leave happy, well-fed, and excited to come back.
The Kitchen Leader helps to bring that mission into reality through training, leadership, and being a brand ambassador inside and outside the restaurant. You will train every new employee how to make best-in-class burgers, while working quickly and efficiently, and create a dining experience that will leave our guests happy, full, and excited to come back. You will be the guardian of quality and Killer Burger procedures, always coaching the crew and crew leaders towards mastery of their skills. You will work with the General Manager to take care of the restaurant, set goals, and achieve those goals. As a Kitchen Leader, you will have the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on the crew, the guests, and the company as a whole.
Job Responsibilities
Quality and Procedure Control
Demonstrate and uphold best-in-class quality standards during prep, cooking, and presentation.
Maintain target ticket times.
Ensure all procedures are followed correctly.
Use coaching to fix incorrect procedures.
Use coaching to develop and perfect skills.
Identify training opportunities and make a plan to implement them.
Maintain high cleanliness standards in all BOH areas.
Lead shifts as the PIC.
Training and Development
Coordinate all BOH training.
Conduct ongoing training and coaching with all current staff.
Track and record all BOH training progress.
Work with the GM to write BOH training schedules.
Cost of Goods Management
Place food orders.
Complete weekly inventory counts.
Work with the GM to identify problems and opportunities with COGs.
Implement initiatives to reduce COGs.
Administrative Management
Assist the GM with managing time punches.
Assist the GM with cash management.
Job Requirements
Certification on all Killer Burger stations.
Mastery of skill and knowledge on all Killer Burger procedures.
Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Must be able to complete store errands and attend virtual and in-person company meetings and trainings.
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Must be able to count, calculate, and balance money.
Must be able to lift 45lbs.

Full-time non-exempt position with benefits
