Description
We have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time Legal Scheduler for our insurance defense team. This role acts as a key support resource to the attorneys and paralegals, providing critical support functions including administration, caseload management, and scheduling. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires the candidate to be in the office 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
•Set hearings and ensure compliance with scheduling requirements
•Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials with attorneys and opposing counsel
•Retain Court Reporters
•Communicate with opposing counsel and JA's
•Prepare notices
•Communicate and schedule with expert witness
•Review calendar for conflicts
•E-filing
Qualifications
•Demonstrated ability to work with deadlines
•Able to work independently and as part of a team
•Proficiency in MS Office
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
