The Web and Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day production of brand, marketing and web design projects. They will work closely with the Senior Designer and Producers to create work that supports the mission of the company. The ideal candidate is a self-starter; capable of multitasking, critical thinking, problem solving, reliable, and open to direction and feedback. You will communicate design processes and intentions to the Senior Designer, work in an organized and professional manner, and participate in company wide meetings focused on improving techniques, communications, global organization and standards of practice.

All duties should be handled with the utmost professionalism, focusing on the graphic design aspects of the work. The Graphic Design Intern must, at all times, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, and solution-based skills designed, all while driving projects forward to reach company objectives.

This will be an in-person position at Kilograph’s Los Angeles office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Senior Designer in execution of graphic design projects
• Assist in creating content (including video) for social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Mailchimp)
• Assist in maintaining the Kilograph website
• Create strong visual identities, graphics, layouts based on the approved brand direction for specific projects
• Amend designs based on clients comments while ensuring these changes are in the contracted scope of work
• Juggle several projects at once with changing requirements, priorities, client requests, and shifting or tight deadlines
• Closely follow trends and developments in technology and integrate them into our environment and practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Photoshop, Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, WordPress
• Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
• Knowledge of HTML and current web technologies. AI is a bonus
• Ability to thrive in a fast pace, client-services environment
• Ideal candidate will desire to enhance their skill sets, learn new ones, approach challenges enthusiastically, take creative initiative, and adapt to feedback with ease
