In this role, you will: Provide support and guidance to team members and Process Engineers in high-speed nonwovens production including web handling, polymer extrusion through film casting and/or melt spinning, web lamination, and centerline process and systems. Create strategies for mill process improvements to keep KPIs on target and aligned with company objectives. Keep centerline system up to date and provide monthly reports for analysis in Quality meetings. Support mill personnel with problem solving and troubleshooting of all the assets in the mill. Support new machine startups and re-build projects for the mill and other mills in the sector as well as Roswell researchers. Creation and execution of trials to support innovative solutions at engineering and customer level. Create and manage DTKs (Documented Technical Knowledge) from other mills in the sector and establish improved standards. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering preferred. 2 years of experience working with or performing research in high-speed nonwovens production, including web handling, polymer extrusion with melt spinning, web lamination, and centerline process systems is preferred. 2 years of experience working with or performing research in installations and machine start-ups, using systems processes, statistical analysis tools and problem-solving systems to identify and resolve machine issues around equipment efficiencies. Product or material quality, and operator capability; performing center-lining or adherence to control plans. Working with external vendors to achieve desired objectives in Design of Experiments.
