Kimberton Whole Foods is Hiring a Produce Stocker - Part-Time Near Ottsville, PA

Description

Kimberton Whole Foods in Ottsville is looking for a Part-Time Produce Stocker to join their team!

We would love for you to join our vibrant and purpose-driven team at Kimberton Whole Foods, where integrity, sustainability, and supporting local farmers are the pillars of our mission! We're on a passionate quest to serve as a community market. 

Schedule: Sunday 7am-3:30pm, Monday 6:30am-8:30pm(varies), Fridays 7am-3:30pm, and Saturday 10am-6:30pm. 

Pay: $15-$17 hourly to start.

Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. 

DAILY OPERATIONS: The Produce Team Member’s primary responsibilities to execute the following. 

  •  Provide exceptional customer service to all.
  •  Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
  •  Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
  •  Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
  •  Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
  •  Understands KWF inventory management practices.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

  • Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. 
  • Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. 
  • Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. 
  • Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
  • Standing- prolonged standing. 
  • Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). 
  • Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
