KinderCare's M&A and Growth Finance team is seeking a Geo Spatial Senior Analyst to play a key role in the financial analysis supporting the company's strategic growth programs. This position involves sophisticated demographic and profitability analysis, market prioritization, site rationalization, and extensive relationship management. The role focuses on performing analyses to support expansion investment decisions, developing cases, and collaborating with various partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Create statistical models for spatial growth strategies.
  • Manage data sets for mapping and geospatial analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive expansion plans.
  • Analyze market variables and portfolio financials for new center analysis.
  • Present analytical perspectives to key decision-makers.
  • Analyze market demographics, city planning initiatives, competition, historical performance and other market factors to develop market targets for new center growth opportunities
  • Develop case presentations for senior leadership.
  • Support growth strategy by analyzing new business models.
  • Run and maintain GIS systems, including SiteWise and MapInfo.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 2 years of finance or investment analysis experience, preferably in multi-unit organizations.
  • Proficient in expressing divergent opinions constructively.
  • Experience with sophisticated financial models in Excel.
  • Skilled in real estate market analysis and qualitative data utilization.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and investment metrics (NPV, IRR).
  • Ability to run multiple projects, prioritize, and meet target date of project.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eye for business.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; GIS packages, Cognos, Lucernex, Alteryx, MS Access (desirable).
