Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Keep accurate records of each child's progress and development
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
