KinderCare Learning Centers is Hiring a Teacher Near Dunedin, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in various educational settings and possess a strong background in curriculum development.

Duties:
- Implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Experience:
The successful candidate should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Working with students in a daycare, toddler care, or school setting
- Understanding childhood development principles
- Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain)
  • Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
