Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as math, language, science, and physical education.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and welfare at all times.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interaction, cooperation, and respect among students.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, identifying areas of strength and areas that may require additional support or tutoring.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to provide regular updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and academic performance for each student.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the individual needs of each child.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
