As our most acute level of care, Kindred’s transitional care hospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.
As a Medical Technologist you will:
- Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards.
- B.A / B.S. or equivalent in Medical Technology or related clinical field.
- Valid state Clinical Lab Scientist license.
- 1-2 years’ experience in clinical laboratory.
- ASCP certification preferred
- Blood Banking experience required; has an on-call component for the week the Technologist is schedule in Blood Bank.
- Weekend and holiday coverage rotation as part of the schedule
- Lab staff works 8-hour shifts, scheduled between 7am – 5pm depending on which department they are assigned to
