Kinetic Personnel Group Inc. is Hiring a Billing Analyst Near Newport, CA
KPG has partnerred with a Thriving Corporation for a Direct Hire opportunity.We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our clients dynamic team. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely billing, evaluating systems for billing and reporting, and supporting various departments with financial analysis and audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and experience with billing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure system tools are updated for accurate billing in line with contractual requirements.
- Compile data for invoice preparation for the company and all subsidiaries in D365.
- Review manual billing calculations for consistency with contractual terms and correct discrepancies.
- Approve CPI/PPI index calculations.
- Assist with volume and revenue reconciliations during the closing process.
- Support internal and external audits with required reporting.
- Update SOX documentation for billing-related processes.
- Assist the Sales team with customer analysis and contract reviews.
- Test and finalize new D365 or 3rd party billing and reporting systems.
- Develop and document efficient billing procedures.
- Support Senior Billing Analyst and team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of MS Dynamics preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills for applying concepts like probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Excellent reasoning abilities to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and employees.
