King's Fish House - Laguna Hills is hiring Customer Service / Cashier / Runners to join the team from 6/4-8/4 to service our pop-up patio.

You will be paid up to $22 / hour ($16 / hour plus service charge and tipping pool). Service charges and tipping pool add an average of an additional $6 / hour. This is not guaranteed and depends on schedule availability and discretion of the guests.

The Service crewmembers are trained in multiple areas of the restaurant from guest interaction, to expediting orders, to hands-on beverage preparation. You will be working in a fast-paced environment using your ability to multitask with efficiency and professionalism.

Once hired, you will be trained to provide friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guest service that goes above and beyond at all times. You will contribute and excel in a team service environment. You will be responsible for understanding and following all company standards and guidelines, and perform opening, on-going, and closing side-work duties.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 17 years of age. You must be 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Food Handler Card
• RBS Certification
• Any previous guest service experience
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbal and written English with Guests, management and co-workers.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to maintain complete knowledge of the service standards
• Ability to understand Guests' service needs.
• Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to Guest.
• Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverage and wines.
• Ability to converse calmly with Guests', co-workers or supervisors in tense emotional situations.
• Ability to transport food and beverage to Guests.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble linens, tables, china, flatware and glassware to restaurant standards.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping and dusting.
• Requisition all necessary supplies and transport from storeroom to dining room.
• Interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions, particularly in resolving Guest complaints.
• Follow supervisor's instructions.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
