The Kingdom East School District seeks a .5 FTE Math Interventionist/.5 MS Humanities Teacher to serve at Millers Run School (PreK- grade 8) providing math intervention and MS humanities instruction aligned to practices, assessment, and curricula adopted by the school/district. The Math Interventionist/MS Humanities Teacher will be part of a collaborative team utilizing best practice to provide instruction and intervention services within a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS), based on identified student need. Experience with Bridges Mathematics, Open UP Resources, the C3 Framework, iReady and the OGAP Framework are beneficial but not necessary. The Math Interventionist/MS Humanities Teacher will work closely with an instructional team, including KESD Instructional Coaches, the Principal, and the KESD Director of Innovation and Learning.Millers Run School strives to offer a highly collaborative, student-centered learning environment which allows plenty of opportunity for outdoor and experiential education, project based learning, and a development of a sense of place.
Experience with Responsive Classroom and PBIS is beneficial, but not necessary.The Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
