Kings County Office of Education is Hiring a Specialized Health Care Nurse (LVN) Near Hanford, CA
Job Summary Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, provide specialized health care services for the care of students in severely disabled programs; and do other related work as required. Requirements / Qualifications High School Diploma, equivalent, or certificate of completion, and graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurses Training Program. Health care related experience is required. Previous experience working with severely handicapped students in a school setting is highly desirable.
Possess a valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse license and CPR Certification Card. Possess a valid California driver license and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County. Transport students from time to time as required, in a county office vehicle. Participate in random alcohol and controlled substances testing as delineated in Superintendent Policy 4112.42, 4212.42, 4312.42 and Administrative Regulation 4112.42, 4212.42 and 4312.42.
