Description:

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Project Manager to add to their team! The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing power generation projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. Project managers or Kinsley will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire process.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, service, and finance teams to meet sales support requirements and address project issues promptly.
  • Regularly update the sales/project management team on manufacturing/shipping status.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop and track detailed project plans.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
  • Measure and report project performance using appropriate tools.
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Oversee month-end reporting and ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Coordinate with AP/AR for timely cash flows.
  • Manage job setup and closeout processes.
  • Provide sales staff with feedback on actual costs to review profitability.
  • Ensure accurate job costing to prevent unjustified charges.
  • Oversee internal and external project forecasting.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and critical sales issues.
  • Oversee submittal tracking and approval.
  • Manage all audit information.

Preferred Project Manager Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 or more years of experience in high level administrative support and data entry position preferred; a combination of work experience and education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • 3 years project management (or related sales) experience with emphasis on equipment distribution.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Great Plains).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
