Summary of the Position:
A Property Maintenance Technician for Kinsley Properties is dispatched to do service call work as defined by Tenant phone calls for service in Kinsley Properties buildings or from work assigned by the Property Service Manager as routine maintenance on properties. Property Maintenance Technicians are assigned a primary list of buildings they will be responsible for to include being a primary contact person and for performing inspections of the properties and then correcting issues identified through the inspections. Work on properties not listed as a primary property will also be available and done on an as needed basis or as needed in an emergency situation. The position is a five day a week job with a normal start time of 7:00 AM and end time of 3:30 PM each day. Some overtime may be offered. There is also an on-call rotation to include after hours and weekend work assigned to a Property Maintenance Technician. The Property Maintenance Technician will work out of a company provided vehicle.
Performing Commercial Maintenance:
· A technician should have 3 – 5 years of commercial construction experience. They need to understand and have proficiencies in many areas of construction. These include:
· Carpentry Both Rough And Finished (Required)
· Drywall Repair (Required)
· Painting (Required)
· Concrete Placement And Finishing (Required)
· Understanding of Doors and Door Hardware (Required)
· Evaluate Issue For Client And Fix Or Know Who To Call (Required)
· Minor Electrical (Nice to Have)
· Minor Plumbing (Nice to Have)
· Minor HVAC (Nice to Have)
· Minor Fire Alarm And Sprinkler System Installation (Nice To Have)
Customer Service:
· A Technician needs to represent Kinsley Properties values of on time customer focused service to all clients they come in contact with.
· Upon arriving at a given job the Technician will have to communicate well with the client to find out their needs and concerns with a sense of confidence and understanding to the client.
