Position Summary

We’re seeking a full-time Community Manager for our Los Angeles-based corporate office.

The Community Manager for the Social team is responsible for overseeing our social media reporting and community management on our owned social media channels. These channels include but are not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Discord. The Community Manager for Social is responsible for managing, creating, and moderating the dialogue in social communities, social listening and providing support in crisis management for SHEIN, ROMWE, and other sub brands (as needed). They will also be leading strategy on how to best engage with communities online to promote brand awareness and increase brand affinity through all possible channels. Our candidate will also assist in monitoring and reporting on industry and competitive trends, campaign initiatives, and community optimization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategize community engagement efforts to bring brand awareness and increase brand affinity across all social channels for SHEIN and sub brands as needed
  • Lead team on community engagement efforts, social listening and drive positivity in the digital space
  • Generate insights using social analytics tools like Meta Insights, Twitter Analytics, Sprinklr, etc.
  • Summarize insights and conversations to create reports that lead to the optimization of social platforms and increase engagement
  • Post relevant mentions in accordance with Content Calendar
  • Utilize social publishing platforms for social media posting (experience with Sprinklr is a must)
  • Respond to comments, when appropriate, to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience
  • Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brand
  • Monitor mentions and respond accordingly

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies and/or related field preferred
  • 4 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities
  • Understanding of popular and emerging social networks
  • Experience with writing captions and responding to consumers in a quick and meaningful way
  • Proficiency in social analytics and publishing tools
  • Have an understanding of industry best practices and the ability to tailor content appropriate for each social platform, as well as be willing to learn and articulate a unique voice on each
  • Knowledgeable about social communities, what makes them tick, and be interested in fostering an ongoing relationship on behalf of a brand
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Solutions-oriented, self-starter, very detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and deadline-driven

Pay

$80,500 - $127,600 per year. Bonus offered.
