Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse operations. This is a vital role in our distribution center, supporting order fulfillment and maintaining inventory accuracy. Duties: - Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices - Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel - Unload, sort, and distribute incoming packages to the designated areas - Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to shipping requirements - Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels and locations - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any shipping or receiving issues - Move materials as needed - Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations Experience: - Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred - Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures - Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking - Ability to operate reach trucks or similar equipment is a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Opportunities for career growth within the company If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy, we encourage you to apply for the position of Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
