Hiring Pay Ranges: Typical pay rate is $52,000 - $72,613, but may be impacted by factors such as past experience

Shift hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Position Summary: The UB IV/Branch Manager will supervise the daily operations of the Universal Bankers and perform all levels of the Universal Banker function while maintaining an atmosphere of accuracy, courtesy and professionalism.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services to meet customer needs
  • Effectively motivate, mentor and manage Universal Bankers to achieve branch-specific deposit growth objectives
  • Manage timesheets, scheduling and branch coverage in conjunction with Branch Coordinator
  • Possess superior knowledge of all Bank policies, procedures, products and culture and implement in respective location
  • Set and measure employee goals and conduct 90-day and annual performance evaluations for all staff
  • Demonstrate and educate Universal Bankers to share the Bank’s full breadth of offerings, including in-branch services, digital capabilities, consumer and commercial lending, and business partner resources (e.g., mortgage and investment management referrals)
  • Encourage and demonstrate effective cross selling of bank products and services; track and communicate staff results to the Branch Coordinator on a regular basis
  • Monitor, order and balance vault currency and coin for the branch, and reconcile branch cash G/L daily
  • Review CTR report for large currency transactions; complete CTRs for branch location as necessary
  • Review Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks reports and properly maintain branch logs
  • Maintain Gift Card inventory; reconcile Gift Cards monthly
  • Review night drop/day drop logs for completion and dual control
  • Manage branch documentation retention
  • Effectively resolve delicate customer issues
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of CDARS and ICS accounts
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and audit issues (including BSA, Security, Night Drop, etc.)
  • Complete and/or participate in ongoing management training courses
  • Handle complex assignments and reports
  • Retain proficiency in Universal Banker I, II, and III functions
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all customers, employees and officers of the Bank

  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned as necessary

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred
  • High school diploma/equivalent education required
  • Supervisory experience required
  • At least five years of banking experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
