KitBash is seeking a Social Media Intern to join our Marketing team and help make our mission a reality by supporting and deploying content across various social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X. You will play a crucial role in engaging with our community of creators across owned channels, known influencers, and other social accounts within the industry. Additionally, you collaborate cross-functionally with other departments on an editorial calendar of content and community programming to increase engagement and retention across our social channels.

This is a paid internship opportunity. We are willing to accommodate the requirements necessary for students to earn college or university credit through this internship.

Scheduling Details: Our ideal candidate will join us part-time, with 20-28 hour work weeks. The internship is anticipated to last 10 weeks from July through August, but we are flexible and open to applicants who can not join us for the full 10-week period. Applicants must be located in the Portland, OR area and be able to work onsite in our Portland, OR office at least 2 days per week between Monday and Wednesday.

What You'll Learn & Contribute

• Deploy approved content across social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter
• Engage with the community on owned channels as well as relevant accounts in the industry with the KitBash3D brand voice.
• Support and follow an editorial calendar of content for social channels, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
• Support in the creation and execution of community programming that increases engagement and retention across social channels.
• Monitor and report on social media trends, tools, and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase engagement and improve processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute social media elements aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate on a case study, which you can add to your resume, on how to revamp and evolve an Instagram profile for growth.

What You Bring to the Team

• Must be able to meet the scheduling details listed above including working onsite in Portland, OR at least twice per week between Monday and Wednesday.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or recently graduated.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X.
• An eye for detail and following brand guidelines and aesthetics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to adopt brand voice.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
• Data-driven, organized, and workflow oriented.
• Passionate about connecting and helping people with excellent customer service skills.
• Can create content with in-app editing tools
