Key Responsibilities:

• Create / Develop detailed Tech Packs to factories/vendors, ensuring precise communication of design, construction, workmanship, and quality control specifications.
• Execute initial styles from design handoff through production to meet required aesthetic following sketches and/or original samples.
• Measure & examine samples with specifications against requests at all stages to prepare for scheduled fittings.
• In effective collaboration with peer teams, supervisor and vendor, provides technical direction on matters pertaining to specs, pattern, construction methods and techniques to improve fit, balance, and overall quality of the garment within company calendar deadline.
• Ensuring that all products conform to the company standard and brand values, aiming high-end quality.
• Ensure grading, fit consistency, and key measurement standard across all styles and product categories.
• Direct and manage Development / Production fittings and execution of fit process with the team to meet deadlines and maintain high-level brand standards.
• Lead cross-functional fit reviews with key team members including Design, Product Development, Production, Merchandise , E-Commerce.
• Review and advise on pattern corrections directly with the factory.
• Oversee system of points of measure drawings and base pattern blocks as needed.
• Review and manage schedule for time and action calendar with Production team and factories.
• Create and share resources and tools to educate team on standards and processes. Drive consistency in methodology and product.
• Educate and enforce company grade rules, tolerances, and quality standards.

Experiences:

• 10 years of experience in Technical Design
• 4 years of experience managing a team
• Self starter in a fast-paced, result-oriented team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Design / Fashion Design
• Extensive Patternmaking and Draping skills with Knowledge of garment construction
• Contemporary / high end brand experience is preferred
• Menswear experience is preferred
• Proficient in Gerber Accumark
• Superior organizational skills and excellent time management
• Excellent communication skills & team oriented
