Klaetsch Public Affairs Strategies (KPAS) is a Wisconsin-based trade association management and governmental relations firm based in Madison, WI seeking a professional to take a lead role in strategy and execution of select trade association clients.
Responsibilities
Provides annual and day-to-day management of trade association clients – membership relations, events and meetings, phone/email communications, database updates, membership updates and renewals, newsletters/websites maintenance, Quick Books - accounts payable and receivable, board and committee meetings, event planning. Assists with other company grassroots and government relations clients as needed. Research state government activity, including legislative proposals, administrative rules, and more. Manages office operations including technology support, equipment maintenance, software upkeep, and purchasing office supplies. Register as a treasurer and manage a political action committee, including processing contributions and filing reports in compliance with Wisconsin Ethics Commission.
Qualifications
Preferred applicants would have a minimum of - associate degree in meeting planning, bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years of experience within the field of meeting planning or 5 years of experience within a related field. Proficiency with QuickBooks preferred.
