We have a new opportunity to join the growing team at a cutting-edge medical technology business based in Edinburgh.

Carcinotech is a MedTech company with expertise in manufacturing 3D printed living tumours using patient-derived biopsies, primary cells, immune cells and cancer stem cells. Carcinotech’s advanced models provide a platform for rapid, ethical, and accurate drug screening, pre-clinical and personalised medicine testing.

The role of Office Administrator will involve (but not limited to) the following:

• Diary management and meeting coordination for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

• Attending meetings, as required, with the CEO, providing pre-meeting briefing information, and minute taking

• Provide administrative support to senior management as required

• Support the CFO with HR administration including on and off-boarding team members, issuing correspondence and updating the eHR system

• Support the CFO with financial administration tasks such as raising purchase orders and processing purchase invoices

• Support the Head of Operations to ensure office spaces are managed office supplies are maintained, areas are fit for both internal and external visitors, and the office areas meet the requirements of the company’s Health and Safety policies

• Dealing appropriately with incoming and outgoing company correspondence (telephone calls, letters, emails), ensuring documentation is stored in line with company policy

Essential skills:

• High level of organisational ability

• Excellent communication

• High degree of accuracy

• Proactive mindset

• Prior experience of using Xero (preferred)

Experience required:

• Calendar/diary management

• Has worked in a small, fast paced environment

• Experience in processing purchase invoices and raising purchase orders
