The FOUR PAWSUS Director leads the operations of the US site. This is a unique opportunity to work at a global organization and collaborate with a large, international group of individuals focused on animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading the implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with global FOUR PAWS´ priorities.
- Executing strategic development plan, recommending timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals.
- Managing overall operations, overseeing the development and evaluation of programs, and ensuring operational excellence across fundraising, finance, administration, and communications.
- Working in collaboration with FOUR PAWS International in Vienna, Austria to translate the global program's priorities to the local context, executing fundraising operations as well as the national communications strategy.
The Successful Candidate will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred, or combination of Bachelors and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership/management role.
- Experience in animal welfare, non-profit, or another similar environment.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience preferably with a non-profit.
- Ability to effectively lead and expand a performance- and outcomes-based organization and staff.
- Understand how to develop and operationalize strategies to take an organization to the next stage of growth.
