Reports to: Packaging Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a QC Technician to join our team and help ensure the quality of our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet all quality standards. The QC Technician will also be responsible for documenting all results and making sure that all records are accurate and up-to-date. We are looking for an individual with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

· Closely following the production schedule to ensure all packaged products get repeatedly checked for all relevant information throughout the packaging process.

· Data entry; Printing Shipping Labels and certificate of analysis (COA’s) that are accurate to match the product being packaged; ensuring accuracy of entries and performing self-checks.

· Knowing the proper procedure for each individual product.

· Able to maintain and accurately review all inventories and communicate any issues to the packaging manager.

· Responsible for performing assigned tasks, completing projects, and meeting expectations in relation to all packaging operations.

· Works in tandem with the compliance team to ensure all product is CC’d (compliance checked), Metrc’d and ends up accurately reflecting the system and physical location.

· Self-directed, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

· An elevated level of attention to detail and a discerning eye for errors.

· Maintaining a high standard of monotonous tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.

· Scrutiny is required for every COA, strain name, and label to ensure correctness of package.

· Operating sensitive precision scales, using proper calibration, and measuring techniques.

· Taking the necessary precautions to prevent potential cross-contaminations using provided PPE and sanitation procedures prior to entering the Packaging Room and/or handling plant material.

· Willing to step in to help the packaging team with packaging operations including Daily cleaning Task, Daily Product Review, and Product Quality assurance.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to follow SOPs (standard operating procedures), maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity.

· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

· Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.

· Commit yourself to treating every individual with respect and dignity.

· Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to management.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out moderately complex, multi-step instructions.

· Must be able to pass an OAC 3796 background check

Physical Requirements

· The employee is frequently required to sit/stand and work for 6 hours each shift

· The employee is frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or reach

· The employee is required to safely lift and/or move up to 25lbs on a frequent basis

· Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

The stipulation of employment is passing an OHIO BCI and FBI background check in accordance with ORC/OAC 3796.

Employees are not allowed to work on the premises until the badge is activated in the Ohio Department of Medical Marijuana e-Licensing portal.We are seeking a QC Technician to join our team and help ensure the quality of our products. Pay: From $14.00 per hour
