Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Business Development Specialist. As a Business Development Specialist at KM&A, your main responsibility will be generating new business opportunities. Duties will include generating leads, sales presentations and prospect engagement, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the service industry, specifically marketing and hospitality or a combination of both. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity with an agency that combines the energy of a start-up with the stability of an established firm. More about what you’ll do:

· Generate leads.

· Meet or exceed sales goals.

· Negotiate contracts with prospective clients.

· Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations.

· Prepare bi-weekly and monthly reports.

· Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.

· Coordinate sales efforts with leadership and marketing.

· Attend industry events and tradeshows.

· Understand and promote company services.

· Obtain deposits and balance of payment from clients.

· Prepare and submit sales contracts for services.

· Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

· Maintain client records.
