KMCE Inc is hiring an SUE Technician III / Field Supervisor for our Subsurface Utility Engineering Department in our Dallas office, Texas.

The Sue Technician III is responsible for operating the VAC truck, maintaining company equipment and vehicles, and following company safety standard procedures.

Qualifications:

• VAC truck experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write, comprehend and give directions to crew to complete field work.
• Capable of making field decisions with little oversight.
• Excellent communication skills and a team attitude.

• Constant communication with field team to have the best success.
• Show a willingness to learn and advance in the SUE.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Factors:

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Repeated motions (bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling).
• Ability to wear safety PPE Equipment, Hard hat, safety Vest, Steel toed boots and Safety glasses.
• Exposure to outdoor environments.
• Exposure to construction and traffic work zones.

Expected hours of work and travel requirements:

• Working hours 6:30am to 5:00pm or till completion of project. Work might require weekend work or overtime.
• Out of town work required
