OPERATIONS MANAGER

market. The Operations Manager position requires full-time attendance at our Lewisville, Texas, location.

Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory movements, shipments, and order processing.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.
• Maintain the physical condition of warehouse and office spaces; inspect equipment; issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
• Notify the warehouse each Monday with cycle count expectations for the week.
• Assign daily cycle counts and perform research to find discrepancies.
• Provide weekly cycle count results to LO VP.
Team Management:
• Schedule and assign workload to warehouse associates and follow-up to ensure workload is completed.
• Assess, coach, counsel, and document all relevant employee performance issues.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Team Lead, ensuring they can perform tasks such as opening/closing the warehouse, assigning daily work tasks, monitoring progress, leading team meetings, and performing quality control checks.
Reporting and Communication:
• Provide the VP of LO with an end-of-week report about warehouse performance, operational challenges, improvement opportunities, issues, and escalations.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Customer Service to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms where necessary.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of proven experience in warehouse management with a successful track record of leading and developing teams, as well as meeting scheduled deadlines.
- 10 years of experience utilizing warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory movements, shipments, and order processing.
- Proven experience managing P&L Statements.
- Demonstrated understanding of how warehouse expenses, errors, inventory discrepancies, and mis-shipments directly affect all areas on P&L Statements.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Flexible and ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions.
- Maintain a positive attitude and openness to growth and new challenges.
- Willingness to get involved in the day-to-day manual labor operations, as necessary.
- Must be willing to accept emergency calls 24/7/365.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (or related field)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Experience in telecommunications/related industry.
