Job Title: Senior FP&A Analyst – Systems/BI

Overview:

KMM Telecommunications, a leading national provider of supply chain solutions and network services to the U.S. communications market, is seeking a meticulous and technically proficient Senior FP&A Analyst to strengthen the financial reporting and analytics of our organization. This key leader must be passionate about how the intersection of finance, analytics, and data visualization come together to tell a story and drives decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a high-powered systems savvy FP&A Analyst who is detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• PowerBI Expertise : Collaborate with Finance and IT leadership to become KMM’s PowerBI Subject Matter Expert (SME), developing and enhancing financial reports and visualizations.
• ERP Implementation : Play a key role in the ongoing ERP implementation and Power BI development, establishing the linkage for future reporting needs.
• Financial Planning : Work with finance and operating leaders to develop annual plans, routine forecasting, and data-driven analysis.
• Predictive Analysis : Identify and present predictive drivers, leading indicators, trends, outliers, and patterns to uncover new insights for guiding business decisions.
• Financial Modeling : Partner with Sales and Operations teams to build financial models that support informed business decisions.
• Reporting Enhancement : Improve current financial reporting, including KPIs, financial statements, driver-based modeling, and automation.
• Process Improvement : Drive standardization and process improvement across the organization, implementing industry best practices and developing metrics for measuring effectiveness and efficiency.
• Training : Assist in training and developing PowerBI reporting and analytic skills across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional Experience : Minimum of 5 years in an FP&A reporting/systems analyst role with progressive responsibilities.
• Financial Acumen : Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Technical Skills : Advanced experience in PowerBI data reporting/visualization and Excel modeling.
• Preferred Tools : Experience with Inforiver, PBIVizEdit, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred.
• Data Modeling : Ability to interface with IT resources to identify and design data model requirements.
• Change Management : Demonstrated experience in transitioning organizations from legacy systems to current best practice solutions.
• Leadership : Ability to challenge the status quo and influence cross-functional and global counterparts.
• Work Ethic : Hard-working, committed to excellence, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-Motivation : Combination of being self-driven and team-oriented, resourceful, and able to work with minimal direction.

Education :

• Required : Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Preferred : Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
