Job Summary:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Reviewing concrete orders for accuracy, including driving directions and mapping, correct products, delivery times, truck spacing and quantities * Become familiar with our products and services * Become familiar with the abilities of a ready mix truck * Develop a strong working relationship with fellow team members, driver teams, customers and KRC contracting groups * Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed * Filing and entering information from concrete tickets into the Command Concrete program as needed * Fill in when other dispatchers are on vacation * Other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
* Current and valid driver license * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Previous dispatching experience and knowledge of the Portland/Metro area is preferred * Knowledge of DOT regulations and previous construction experience is helpful * Ability to operate and learn new computer programs * Ability to effectively manage time and multi task * Ability to manage stressful situations * Ability to work safely in a busy construction environment * Willingness to work odd hours and Saturdays if necessary * Must work as a member of a location team * Ability to accurately log important information on a daily basis * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence * Ability to speak effectively before contractors or employees of organization * Ready Mix experience a preference
