Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. This position requires an individual who is committed to providing excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and upholding our organization's values.

Duties:

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and prevent criminal activity, theft, and other security breaches.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct regular checks on the premises, including doors, windows, and gates, to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
• Investigate and report any incidents, such as theft, trespassing, or suspicious behavior.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent any security breaches.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors and employees as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all security incidents and activities.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as conflict management and loss prevention.
• In the event of an emergency, administer first aid and CPR as needed.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, both on and off duty.

Skills:

• Certificate in Law Enforcement or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in CPR and first aid is essential.
• Strong surveillance skills with experience using CCTV cameras.
• Excellent conflict management and loss prevention skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Experience in a militarized environment is advantageous.
• Physical stamina to perform duties in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with visitors, employees, and law enforcement agencies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.32 per hour
