Knit Rite/Thuasne USA is Hiring a Cutter Near Kansas, KS

Regular Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm with overtime as needed

Thuasne is a mid-cap medical device company, manufacturing class I and class II devices, committed to providing high-quality products that enhance patient mobility, function, and quality of life.This position is a person who will cut products from machines and who will perform other minor duties, excluding repair work on knitting machines. They will support keeping machines running, product clear from machines and will interact with the flatbed operator.Duties/Responsibilities:

Cuts or pulls product from machines
Stacks product on or beside machines
Checks MO’s for correct file name to assure it matches file on display
Do minor repairs (i.e. Tying on yarn, twinning, press off error)
Informs operators of machine if not running
- Communicates with operator on machines if find product has defect or any other issue
- All other duties as assigned, including helping in other departments as needed

Qualification Requirements:

- Education-high school or equivalent
- Less than 1 year production experience
- Knowledge of calculator, maintenance tool equipment, knitting tools

Core Competencies:Core competencies requirements for this position include applicable education, training or certifications, previous experience, and on-the-job training, and are documented in the training plan for the position. Competency is evaluated beginning on date of hire and will be verified after all job function and evaluation requirements are completed. Additional tasks may be required as business needs dictate. Individual goal plans will be defined, and performance indicators may be modified as technologies and market conditions evolve.Working Conditions:Seeing general, close vision, hearing/listening, reading and writing-simple, clear speech, analyzing, memorization, basic math skills, judgment, decision making, perceptions and comprehension. Repetitive motions, standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, bending, sitting, flexibility upper and lower body. Works with others, verbal and face to face contact with others. Shift work, noise, moving objects, mechanical and electrical equipment. High pressure, hazards, fatigue.
