KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse – PT Nights for our targeted client located in the Decatur, Indiana area.

Targeted Hourly Rate: – $30hr - $38hr (pay rate varies depending upon skills and experience level.

Hours: 3:45 pm - 4:15 am (Every fourth weekend required)

Status: Part-Time (24 hours a week)

This hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Decatur, Indiana. It is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc The hospital offers a wide range of diagnostic, treatment, and healthcare programs, including 24-hour emergency care. It has been servicing the community for over 100 years.

Job Summary:

The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of total nursing care for patients admitted to the ICU. This includes providing support to the patient and family in the dying process. The RN will perform an admission assessment and subsequent assessment in a systemized, organized, and timely manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Formulates a nursing diagnosis based on accessible, communicable, and recorded data.

• Plans care which includes goals and prioritizes nursing approaches or measures derived from the nursing diagnosis.

• Implements strategies to provide for patient participation in health capabilities, maintenance, and restoration.

• Evaluates with the patient the status of goal achievement as a basis for reassessment, reordering priorities, new goal setting, and revision of the plan of nursing care.

• Seeks educational resources, and creates learning experience to enhance and maintain current knowledge and skill for his or her continuing competence in nursing practice and individual professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the State of Indiana

• BLS/CPR Certification required with ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire

• Critical Care nurse experience preferred
