Responsibilities

• Manage/prepare the quarterly/annual SEC filings.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting standards, and disclosure requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial and non-financial data for inclusion in SEC filings.
• Work on technical projects such as divestiture accounting, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, lease activity, and adoption of recent accounting pronouncements.
• Stay current on applicable accounting standards and SEC regulations.
• Manage the external reporting process and have a strong understating of the best practices.
• Streamline the SEC reporting process and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of filings.
• Maintain the accounting policies and educate the business units.
• Prepare/review corporate journal entries associated with technical topics.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA license is mandatory.
• 3 - 4 years experience in public accounting or public/private experience.
• External reporting experience for a large, accelerated filer registrant would be preferred.
• Knowledgeable in current U.S. GAAP, SEC Reporting requirements and FASB technical pronouncements.
• Experience with Workiva and SAP preferred.
