Essential Functions:

• Follow the job instructions provided by the Production Supervisor.

• Assists in scheduling daily production staffing of machines and workstations.

• Verifies that daily job performance standards are being attained.

• Immediately inform the supervisor or quality department of any visual and/or physical defects in the production product.

• Verifies proper documentation of all production reports.

• Assists the supervisor, maintenance, or QA staff when necessary.

• Assists in training employees on quality and/or other criteria.

• Does daily poka yoke checks and takes corrective actions when defects are found.

• Completes process audits as specified.

• Does hourly monitoring of parts produced, scrap and downtime and assists in maximizing use of employee’s time.

• Maintain a productive working environment by promoting effective communication and cooperation as well as maintaining positive habits and attitudes.

• Take action to promptly correct or remove or report all workplace hazards and unsafe

work conditions.

• has been trained on forklift and combi lift.

• Knows the blue tag process needed and follows to ensure the material is being blue tagged as needed.

• Follows the West end operators to ensure tasks are properly being followed and completed.

• Able to train operators on all the needed job assignments including safely removing scrap, heat treating parts, maintaining a clean working area.

• Must have the ability to work under pressure.

• Must have 2-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment.

• Must have effective human relations skills.

• Must have computer experience (Windows, Microsoft Office).

• Good written and oral communication skills including interpersonal skills.

• Must demonstrate ability to promote effective communication and cooperation.

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or a GED
